The hotel is in a fantastic part of Rome! We visited the nearby Villa Borghese which was perfect for our child. The staff were welcoming, and our room was spacious with a lovely terrace to unwind. The air conditioning did wonders for our comfort.
My wife says that the luggage storage could be better managed for families.

okapi is very conveniently located, just a short walk from piazza del popolo and within easy reach of the spanish steps and tiber. the rooms were comfy and spacious. i really appreciated the daily cleaning and fresh towels throughout my five-night stay, along with the air conditioning that kept me cool during the summer.
the street noise could be a bit much at night.

The location is fantastic—right beside Piazza del Popolo, making it easy to hit up the Vatican and other major sites. I appreciated the self-serve coffee available throughout the day, which is a nice touch when you need a caffeine fix.
The double rooms could be quite noisy due to the buzz of the streets below, especially at night. One of the bigger annoyances was the malfunctioning air conditioning during my stay in late April—it left the room stuffy. The bathrooms were small and caused some frustration, as the doors could slam into the bidet and water from the shower always seemed to escape. The luggage space is tight, coupled with thin walls that let you hear your neighbors' TVs easily. while there are quirky positives, these fundamental issues diminished the overall experience.
